Mexican in Manhattan Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ ounces cocoa butter fat-washed LALO Tequila Blanco
- 5 teaspoons vermouth rosso
- 2 dashes cacao bitters
- Garnish with an orange peel
Directions:
- Add tequila, vermouth, and cacao bitters to a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir well and strain into a Nick & Nora glass.
- Express an orange peel over the drink and use it as garnish. Makes one serving.
Cocoa Butter Fat-Washed Tequila Blanco
Ingredients:
- 3 ⅓ ounces tequila blanco
- 3 ½ ounces cocoa butter
Directions:
- Melt cocoa butter gently.
- Mix melted cocoa butter with tequila.
- Let sit at room temperature for 2-4 hours.
- Freeze for 1-2 hours until fat solidifies.
- Strain to remove solids and bottle.
